When seventeen-year-old Sage wakes up in a hospital with no memories, her only clue are the words written on her hand. With a deadly disease threatening to wipe out mankind, Sage must find out who she is and why most people would kill to get their hands on her—before it’s too late. This fast-paced, futuristic thriller is a spine-tingling read!
This dystopian YA fiction was an interesting read. Sage may not remember details about her life, but her instincts are all there. She feels the need to care for others and she knows how to escape and defend herself.
The characters in this story are all very dramatic and true “characters”. They are selfish, not looking to form relationships with others. Its interesting because in a world where people don’t live very long the kids tend to grow up very fast.
The story has some violence that was intense, so beware if your teen is sensitive to that. Otherwise its a clean and age appropriate read for a teen or tween.
