A Few Cards Short of a Full Deck
I love to play board games and card games. I am the card boss in our house. I hate whena deck of cards are sticky, bent, or missing a card to complete the set. I also love to play Nertz, the best game ever, that requires each person to have their own deck of cards. Over the years I have thrown out a few decks of cards, so I wanted to share a few ways I could think of to use a deck that was short a few cards.
1. Create a List, Make a gift –
A great gift idea for fathers day or Valentines, would be 52 Reasons I love you. Or 48, or 50, if your working with less cards. You can print them on the computer and glue them to each card. I could also see this as a quote a week, flash cards, etc.
2. Create a mini photo book
A great gift for a 50 year wedding anniversary – a picture from each year. You could also make a cute brag book for grandparents.
3. Party Decorations –
For a casino themed party, cards would make an excellent garland. You could also decorate the back of the cards for any other themed party. Cut, Paste, Craft and have fun with it!
Cut a notch out, and wrap your ribbon around the card to keep it organized and wrinkle free. For ribbon on a spool, I would recommend a Ribbon Caddy.
5. Secret Box
