Summer is in full force at our house, and I love every minute of it.
That is…. until my son whines about not wanting to go to the park. Then I start thinking about back to school, and how glorious its going to be – I will have some time to myself again. Thinking about school preparations makes me anxious. My son is starting at a new school and he is to have 25 pencils labelled with his name. While I find it a bit excessive, a few of my teacher friends tell me that they always end up spending their own money on supplies each year, so I will be sure to supply my own kid with all of his pencils, and ask what other supplies are needed throughout the year, without whining about the labels.
Luckily I found a huge timesaver for me, and the end result is much more adorable than my hand writing. Enter – Olivers Labels. I ordered a growth chart (placed in my basement play room) and loved the style, customization options, and best of all, the quality. I realized that they also have labels for all sorts of things.
We ordered the School Package which includes a variety of sizes and uses. I was able to customize my labels – choosing the design and the fonts used. I saw the special edition labels with Sponge Bob on them and knew Jett would be so excited for them. Cue my usual parent dilemma of letting my kid choose the characters as opposed to what I think is adorable. Luckily I was able to split up the package – some in each pattern. Everybody is happy.
When the package arrived on the doorstep Jett was so excited. He insisted that we needed to play school. He got out his backpack, lunch box, and water bottle and started to arrange circle time and snack time. Apparently he has known how to make a sandwich this entire time, and insists they go in a plastic bag for him to eat at his leisure. You would think it was the toy of the year with how excited he has been for labels!
He also shows his labels to everyone, so I wrote down what he said about them, because its too cute.
I like the skeleton one. So when your going somewhere you put them on, and then you can bring them. Because… so if your going to school and someone has the same back pack they will see Jett. Like you put these things on, then they show you which backpack you have! Remember, there is my name on there? That means everyone knows its mine.
So there you are. Skip toys and make your kids happy with their own labels. Do you want to a school package from Oliver’s Labels? Leave a comment with what design you like best and you are entered to win!
Make sure all your new school supplies make it home with Olivers Labels made just for you!
