Academy Award–nominated director/writer Peter Hedges (“Dan in Real Life,” What’s Eating Gilbert Grape?”) brings enchantment to the screen with “The Odd Life of Timothy Green,” an inspiring, magical story about a happily married couple, Cindy and Jim Green (Jennifer Garner and Joel Edgerton), who can’t wait to start a family but can only dream about what their child would be like. When young Timothy (CJ Adams) shows up on their doorstep one stormy night, Cindy and Jim—and their small town of Stanleyville—learn that sometimes the unexpected can bring some of life’s greatest gifts. When young Timothy suddenly comes into the lives of Cindy and Jim Green, they learn that sometimes the unexpected can bring some of life’s greatest gifts.
This movie will be in theaters on August 15th. I can’t wait to watch it. All adoption stories had me at hello.I was telling you about a great movie that is close to my heart, The Odd Life Of Timothy Green, that comes out today. I got to see a sneak preview of this movie last week and I absolutely loved it. Like all Disney family movies, its not animated, so I din’t think my three year old would sit through it, but anyone school aged would love it. I think it will be the family show of the summer. We laughed, we cried, and cheered for young Timothy.
Take your family and support clean family movies!
Thank you Disney, for making a great movie and for letting me share it!
