The Woman Who Stole My Life by Marian Keyes
Stella isn’t sure what she thinks about Karma, but knows that karma has a great PR firm. People everywhere do good deeds in the hopes that someone is tallying them up to cash in for something great to head in your direction. The Woman Who Stole My Life is a journey through Stellas life, beginning with a car accident. What started off as a thoughtful act turned into something horrible, which led to something amazing and rich but it all came crashing down again.
The book begins in the present time, right in the middle of the story. We don’t know what all happened in the past, and the author is always telling us more of the story while leaving the connecting pieces until the very end.
The Woman Who Stole My Life reminds me a bit of The Other Side Of The Story – another book about publishing that I loved in the past and written by the same author.
I really liked the book, but there were plenty of F words and sexual discussion that I would be careful who I recommended it to. If this book were a movie it would be rated R.
