Warning: There are going to be a ton of photos in this post.
While attending many design classes, seminars, round tables, and chatting with fellow bloggers, the brands attending ALT set up spaces in some of the lounges for us to talk about collaborations and project ideas. What is different at ALT Summit than any other conference I have been to before? Crafts. There were crafts, projects, supplies, washi tape, hot glue guns, and other miscellaneous supplies everywhere. And at least 1 if not 2 photo booths in every room. At first it was weird because a lot of the time you are wandering by yourself (easiest way to make new friends) but it got easier to just grab a group of people and ask them to jump into the photos with you.
We are getting our craft on to make personalized luggage tags. I am never one to say no to a craft!
These lovely ladies I was thrilled to meet, Lisa Clark from Pretty Darn Funny and Kacy from Every Day I Write The Book. We are all in agreement that we are all a pretty big deal, and everyone needs to know us. The three of us need to be together more!
So basically, it was a great time, and I am working on mastering the photo booth. I am sure I will have tons more to say about the conference…. I promise to summarize concisely.
