We just welcomed our final member of our family this week and it has been an emotional roller coaster!  When Mr. H was born he had low blood sugar and spend 2 days in the NICU to get his levels all figured out. While I knew this was not my ideal situation, compared to the 7 weeks I spent in the NICU with my twins, 2 days is nothing.

While I was okay with the baby spending a few days away from me, I really wanted to be able to breast feed my baby and not have to rely on formula.

I was recently chose to be a Philips Avent mom, which means I was sent a couple new products to try out and also host a giveaway!  One item I was really happy to try out is the Philips Avent Breastfeeding Support Set. My favorite part of the whole package is that is comes with everything that you need.  It includes a single pump, storage containers, a bottle, and disposable pads and warm / cool soothing pads.

The Avent Comfort Single Pump saved me.  The first few days home from the hospital I had to pump every few hours and it was so nice to have an electric pump on hand.  The pump is really easy to use, I could set it up right out of the box without any instructions.  I love that it was comfortable to use and the size of the machine itself is small enough to tuck discreetly into a diaper bag for on the go pumping. The breast pads and soothing pads can be warmed or cooled, and come in a soft outer wrap so its extra comfortable.

The Philips Avent Breastfeeding Support Set was everything I needed as a mom to a new baby to get through the first few weeks and beyond. This one kit would be the perfect gift for a first time mom, or any expecting mom.  I love how everything is included and its a great price at $199.

Brooke - Brooklyn Berry Designs

Hey, I’m Brooke!

I am a mom to 4 boys in Calgary, Alberta.  I love learning how things are made, singing to the radio loudly, and can’t stop talking. Fueled by diet coke and chaos, I can often be found working on a project.  You can hang out here for craft ideas and tips, games and activities to do with kids, plus FREE svg files and printables.
