Baby Girls Room

What started off as a room for twin boys had to me transformed to make room for an upcoming baby girl’s room.  I had a few ideas and we came up with something that was a combination of the two options I thought of.  We haven’t decided on pictures and other fun accessories yet (we would like to have some pictures of the sweet baby when she arrives).  But here is where we are now, ready for the new arrival just 2 weeks away.

Can you see the board and batten paneling on the bottom of the wall?  I had a hard time getting it to show up in any pictures.  The grandparents supplied the chandelier, and there is a pom pom mobile that may or may not make it into the room.  Here is an idea in the works for an art wall.

I like the color combo. The pink looks fun mixed in with the darker walls, and you did a good job transferring the look from boy to girl. Thanks for sharing this.

Umm this looks a lot like my nursery for Eisley. Pink and black; chandelier; and I think the bedding might even be exactly the same. Needless to say, I love it! 🙂

Fun nursery theme. The pink and black is different. I like it! Cute idea with the picture frames. Best wishes on the birth of your new baby girl. We just welcomed baby Annabelle on Jan. 17 – my grand niece. Her nursery is soft lavender and white and pink. You can see sweet Annabelle on my blog.

I just noticed that the bedding is the same. How funny, great minds think alike! Or maybe I just liked it so much I subconsciously tried to mimic it. I think both are beautiful. Maybe you should send me some pictures and I can post them!

Very cute! My friend is expecting her first baby (doesn’t know if it’s a boy or girl) but was just talking about how she likes zebra prints…I’ll have to direct her here!

Well, I do declare that baby Bree is going to have an awesome nursery! I love the color combination of the pink and black! It’s different…and I like that!!! You’ve done an excellent job here…I’ll be looking forward to seeing it when you finish!

Thank you so much for joining in with Sunday Favorites…again, I apologize for being so late to come by!

    Warmest wishes,

Well that is just adorable! Black and white is kind of my bff. And that chandelier? Oh my! That child is going to grow up to be the cutest and most posh girl in the world. And she’ll owe it all to her amazing nursery. (make sure she mentions it whenever she receives any kind of award!) Great job!!

Hey, I’m Brooke!

I am a mom to 4 boys in Calgary, Alberta.  I love learning how things are made, singing to the radio loudly, and can’t stop talking. Fueled by diet coke and chaos, I can often be found working on a project.  You can hang out here for craft ideas and tips, games and activities to do with kids, plus FREE svg files and printables.
