The Daily Diaper Wrestle
Every day, many times a day, I compete in what we call the Diaper Dash. This is where I wrestle with my kids to get them into a clean diaper. Its like as soon as that diaper is loose they can smell the freedom and instantly spring away from me.
Most times I can entertain them with a toy to get at least one side done up, which is held up by a chunky baby thigh while they make their diaper dash. I can then sneak behind them to attach the last side. Which often results in a baby wedgie. I like it like that!
My newest solution involves a new diaper. I was sent some Huggies Little Movers Slip-On diapers to try out. They look like a regular diaper, but you slip them on. The babies think its fun, I like not loosing their poop. Not a potty training pant (like a pull up) but a diaper that stays in place (which I found less likely to leak) and no adjusting for fit. The sides are stretchy, which are comfortable for the baby and no red marks on their bodies, but there is also a grip tab so when you take the diaper off you can roll it up and throw it away. EASY and Clean!
