When it comes to visiting a new city, or even a section of the city you don’t see that often, I love to find local unique shops. I like to think that I am discovering something special that only a few people know about. However, keeping these shops in business is best for us all, so I am willing to share what I find, and hope you tell your friends.
I went to Salt Lake City recently, I asked a blog friend what places I had to see. Eva’s Bakery was the top of her list. When someone describes a shop to you as “so charming you’ll die” you just have to haul your friends, with all 6 of your combined kids, 2 blocks away from your City Creek shopping excursion to sample some tasty treats.

Not only did Eva’s Bakery come highly recommended, the design was so beautiful I don’t know which one I loved more. The design, decoration, and beautiful vintage tiles, or the delicious eclair that didn’t last long enough to get photographed. I would make a horrible foodie blogger.
