So remember in the 80’s when we used to wallpaper and faux finish our outlet covers to blend in to the wall?  Now that wallpaper is starting show up again in our homes, this is an added complication we now have a modern and simple solution for.

This wasn’t necessarily a bad option, bu could be very time consuming and I am not sure if its worth it in the end.  I am searching for some unique items for my new house. I really want products that are unique without being weird or cheaply made. I think these  options are wonderful. One day my whole house will have these dimmer switches!

This rotary dimmer has a stainless steel plate.  A combination of rotary dimmers and toggle switches can be put together on the same base plate.

Toggle switches.  Simple and industrial is the way to go.

A clear acrylic base plate allows the outlet to blend in without all the time consuming and unprofessional results of wallpapering outlets or attempting a DIY faux finish on them.

Brooke - Brooklyn Berry Designs

Hey, I’m Brooke!

I am a mom to 4 boys in Calgary, Alberta.  I love learning how things are made, singing to the radio loudly, and can’t stop talking. Fueled by diet coke and chaos, I can often be found working on a project.  You can hang out here for craft ideas and tips, games and activities to do with kids, plus FREE svg files and printables.
