By Sarah M. EdenLongingforHome

I just finished Longing For Home, Volume 2: Hope Springs by Sarah M Eden.  I liked the first book in the series and was excited to read the second one.  Similar to the first Longing For Home, this second book was very long. The first 2/3  pages of the book were a great reminder of the stressful situation that is taking place in the town of Hope Springs.  The feud between the red road and the Irish road is still as strong as ever. The feud gets so intense it begins to stress me out. I can’t see a solution to the problem and feel fortunate to grow up in a world that your ancestry doesn’t make or ruin friendships. I always feel grateful to parents who raised me in a city with a very diverse cultural background.

After talking to a few friends who have read the book as well, they all tell me that this series is just ok, and that Sarah M Eden’s other books are AH MAZING.  So I will have to try another of her books out to see for myself.

Overall, I give it 3 stars out of 5.  Its stressful but the ending is SO GOOD.

Brooke - Brooklyn Berry Designs

Hey, I’m Brooke!

I am a mom to 4 boys in Calgary, Alberta.  I love learning how things are made, singing to the radio loudly, and can’t stop talking. Fueled by diet coke and chaos, I can often be found working on a project.  You can hang out here for craft ideas and tips, games and activities to do with kids, plus FREE svg files and printables.
