Can one person really make a difference in this world?
Sometimes it seems like one person can’t make that much of a difference. What impact can an individual have to change the world? Well, there have been a few instances in my life where one person has changed my world, and hopefully I have been able to help make a difference in the life of someone close to me.
I am sure by now everybody knows how I feel about public funding of fertility treatments here in Alberta. If you are new, or perhaps haven’t read my infertility posts in the past, be sure to go and check them out here. Right now there is a big decision being made in Alberta’s Government. The decision on whether or not fertility treatments should be covered by Alberta Health Care is being discussed. This may seem like a no-brainer. It should be a human right to be able to have children, and finances should be the last thing holding you back from being a family.
At this time, there are a few simple things that you can do to make a difference.

Shivers reading this. Now I might actually be getting the flu, or else this is an extremely powerful post. It could be both. You know how I feel about using your voice, right? If God and your Mama gave you a voice then you darn well better make use of it. I appreciate how much you have given to this issue. You always use your voice to make a difference and that makes you one of my favourite Alberta people ever. I am hopeful more people will continue to raise their hopeful voices and bring change about now. Thanks so much for using your voice always!
