I am a busy mom of 4 crazy boys who doesn’t like cooking because it means another mess to clean up.  I like simple meals that are one pot or crock pot for that reason. I love having some go to recipes I can have on hand for busy days, saving me from running to the default fast food places. The Make Ahead kitchen is the perfect cook book for that.

Make Ahead Kitchen

About The Book:

Skip the hassle of last-minute meals and leftovers and replace them with simple, healthy, delicious, and easy-to-prepare make-ahead dishes! Your family will love these comfortable meals, new favorites, cozy drinks, and tantalizing desserts–all of them prepared ahead of time so you don’t have to worry! Enjoy simple, soul-filling foods without the chaos of preparing them at the last minute.

My Thoughts:

The Make Ahead Kitchen is a cook book with meals that can be prepared ahead of time and portions for a family.  The recipes are geared towards more warm food, so I am excited to try out more of the meals in the fall. The photos are simply stunning, and I like that the food is realistic and not too fancy for my little kids.
