More Than The Tattooed MormonAs a life long member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (aka LDS or Mormon) I have always loved hearing the story of how people found and became members of the church.  It is always so fascinating to me and I love to know if they had heard about the church what their perception was, and how they came to want to be a member.

Al Fox Carraway has a very inspiring story of of how she met the missionaries, joined the church and how it all changed her life.  She is often on instagram (and I want to buy all the clothes she wears), facebook, and public speaking to millions of people.  She has visible tattoos on her arm, which earned her the nickname ‘The Tattooed Mormon’ but she wants to be known for more than that. Al Carraway has so many inspiring stories, but my favorite is about judging people by their outward appearances, speaking of her tattoos and living in Utah.  She has had quite the interesting interactions about them.

More Than The Tattooed Mormon is available on Amazon, Deseret Book in stores and online. *amazon is currently sold out until January so if you are looking for this as a Christmas gift check Deseret Book*

Brooke - Brooklyn Berry Designs

Hey, I’m Brooke!

I am a mom to 4 boys in Calgary, Alberta.  I love learning how things are made, singing to the radio loudly, and can’t stop talking. Fueled by diet coke and chaos, I can often be found working on a project.  You can hang out here for craft ideas and tips, games and activities to do with kids, plus FREE svg files and printables.
