Now would be a good time to break the news to your friends that you’re unavailable for the next eight Saturdays due to Outlander being your top priority. If you need help, use this as a guide.

Outlander

Have you read the Outlander series of books? It is such a good series, but the books are very long to get through. If you didn’t have the patience, its ok, because now the TV show is here for us!

Here is the cliff notes version so you get what is going on. Claire Randall has been married for 8 years, but separated as she and her husband were serving in the war in Europe. They get back together on their honeymoon, she was serving as a nurse, and is very interested in homeopathic herbs and such. When they are in Scotland on their trip, she learns more about herbs and studies up on local history. She learns about stone circles (like Stonehenge) and goes one day at Sunrise to see them. She touches one and passes out, when she wakes up she is in the 1700 and has no idea how to get back.
Outlander

A friend of mine told her husband they had to get the channel, or she would get a hotel room every Saturday night in order to watch THIS show. Haha, I love the way she thinks!

The Outlander series will premiere Saturday, August 9th at 9PM EST. It is available on STARZ, so make sure you have the channel or plan on being somewhere to watch it.

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Time Warner Cable. The opinions and text are all mine.

Brooke - Brooklyn Berry Designs

Hey, I’m Brooke!

I am a mom to 4 boys in Calgary, Alberta.  I love learning how things are made, singing to the radio loudly, and can’t stop talking. Fueled by diet coke and chaos, I can often be found working on a project.  You can hang out here for craft ideas and tips, games and activities to do with kids, plus FREE svg files and printables.
