When I first got a DSLR camera I was so excited to make myself a camera strap cover.  I had seen so many tutorials and etsy finds, and totally thought I could make one.  I am not a talented seamstress, but can hold my own in the basic projects.  Sadly, my DIY camera strap kind of sucked.  The fabric wasn’t that soft – so it wasn’t something I wanted hanging around my neck for an extended period of time.  And for the price of that baby, I wanted it protected.  Wearing it on my neck is an essential safety habit.  The fit was a bit tricky.  It seemed to be a bit too tight, it was hard to get on, etc.  I quickly gave up hopes of having a cute camera strap and settled for the generic Canon strap.

Enter Phat Straps Camera Straps.  I first saw them in the Canon e-store and fell in love.  They have adorable patterns and colors, just like what I saw online, but with the trust and convenience from an online store I knew.  The prices are amazing and they are comfortable.  Love, love.  I got the reversible lattice chevy and I love it.

The Phat Straps Camera Straps meet all of my picky requirements:

  • it is comfortable
  • it is cute
  • it is secure – its a new strap not a cover, so its very solid and secure.  Your camera isn’t going anywhere.
  • it is affordable

Why am I telling you all this?  Not only do I love to share great finds and great deals, I am giving away a Phat Straps camera strap to one of my readers!  If you already follow me on any social media channel you are able to enter. Good luck!  I will draw a winner next Sunday night!

I love fancy camera straps! 🙂 I have one that is a cover, but it is quite old. I would love to replace it and these straps sound great!

So cute! I don’t even think about changing my camera strap but obviously I should.

These are beautiful! I especially like the one you reviewed and the grey chevron and minky strap. Bet the minky is super soft!

I love camera straps, and since I use my camera every day I really could use a new one!

Hey, I’m Brooke!

I am a mom to 4 boys in Calgary, Alberta.  I love learning how things are made, singing to the radio loudly, and can’t stop talking. Fueled by diet coke and chaos, I can often be found working on a project.  You can hang out here for craft ideas and tips, games and activities to do with kids, plus FREE svg files and printables.
