Reverently, Quietly: Sacrament Meeting Activity Book by Pamela Jensen
Entertaining kids in church is THE WORST. You can either be the parent who gives your kid an ipad or tablet so that you can listen to the talks… or if you are one of the pinterest mom variety (which sometimes I am, and others I loudly pronounce “ain’t nobody got time for that”) than you have proudly hand sewn your own diy quiet book (like I did here), photo copied pictures from “The Friend” for your kids to color, and have all sorts of scripture based learning activities for your children.
Either way, making it through that hour with your kids all alive, dressed, and in the room is the only goal here. Bonus points if you can stop them from running to the pulpit and singing in the microphone. Tell me I am not the only person who has had this happen to.
No matter how organized you are on sunday mornings, now everybody can have it as easy without all the work involved. Reverently Quietly is a premade quiet book that is there to save you. Adorable coloring sheets? Check. Matching games? Check. Church focused and uplifting? Check check. Be sure to let me know when everyone things you are the most creative mom ever. You can also make photocopies or slip the sheets into clear sheet protectors (using dry erase markers) to make these last forever and ever.
Look like the most organized pinterest mom with the perfect reverent children. I will keep your quiet book secret!
Here are some links to other church books for kids. I am all about packing the church bag with as much as I can. You never know what will work to keep those turkeys quiet. These are all on amazon for ease of shopping….
