Whenever I need to get a new piece of furniture for my home I begin to envision what my ideal space would look like. I know how I want it to feel. Then I see if the furniture I am looking at will fit into that vision, or if it is beautiful but not right for my room. I like a mix of vintage and modern, with touches of cottage accents. I like the balance and know that I need some color and pattern in my space now. I am working on making my home into a place that feels cozy for all of us in the family.
While searching the Sauder website I first looked at the furniture by space. I loved the unique furniture options for the apartment and loft spaces. You can also search by type of furniture and even the stain, so you can find whatever you are looking for very quickly. I began to search for a coffee table, book cases, and storage items.
I found this glass coffee table that is perfect for my room. For the longest time I have been against glass tables because they are not great for kids who are learning to walk, but the glass tables are visually lighter than the big wood tables. When I saw this round table with a glass top it was the best of both worlds!
After ordering the glass table it arrived at my door within a week, which was faster than I expected. It was assembled in less than 15 minutes, the hardest part was wedging the glass out of the styrofoam wrapper without getting foam pieces everywhere. It literally went together without a second thought. The instructions were simple and easy to follow. As you can see it didn’t take long for the kids to make it into a toy, and my husband to use it for fly fishing – like everything else in our house. We sure like it and use it to all its extents!
