Before Christmas we hit crisis mode in our family.  You know, the time when everyone in your house is sick and you are so desperate to keep everyone entertained and inside the house?  That was me.  We had a lot of ipad and screen time but we needed something else to break up our days.

We had some new toys in the house and I was thrilled that every single kid in my house was entertained by them.  Originally meant for the baby, I asked the twins to show him how to get the toys to light up and I had to convince them to share.  Luckily, it was easy to find ways to play with the toys all together, so I consider that a parenting win!

This Spin & Giggle Puppy is a bowl that spins a bunch of balls around.  Pushing the buttons on the paws will start the spinning and play music.  My boys all think this is totally hysterical. We also used the box of extra balls to pile them all up and let them spin!Learn & Giggle Activity Station looks like a window on a stand (perfect for little legs to scoot in close). There are so many things the kids can do to interact with this toy.  A flip book tells stories, buttons teach colors, shapes, letters, numbers, etc.  My boys love the orange cat whose paw you push down into a fishbowl, which makes it spin and light up.

The Roll & Glow Monkey is a silly monkey with two wheels that roll him around.  By pushing on his head the monkey will roll around the room.  My boys think it is fun to race after it, and the baby will pass it back and forth with his brothers.

I am so glad that we found some great toys that could entertain the whole family.  Thank you to Bright Starts for providing the toys for us to play with.

Brooke - Brooklyn Berry Designs

Hey, I’m Brooke!

I am a mom to 4 boys in Calgary, Alberta.  I love learning how things are made, singing to the radio loudly, and can’t stop talking. Fueled by diet coke and chaos, I can often be found working on a project.  You can hang out here for craft ideas and tips, games and activities to do with kids, plus FREE svg files and printables.
