I love to try out new products. I am a very picky eater, but I find as I get older I start liking new things that I swear I wouldn’t have touched as a child. I want my children to be adventurous eaters, so when I see a recipe with something new I have made it a goal to try out something new and make it.

I found a recipe for Chocolate that called for Silk Creamy Cashew. I decided I wanted to make some, and after a quick pinterest search I found some cookie dough protein balls made with cashew silk that I wanted to make as well. I dragged the 5 year old son to get the “special milk”. That is what I told my son when we were scouring the stores for the Silk Almond Milk.

Both recipes were a smashing success – so much so that we didn’t get any pictures!

Not only were the recipes good, I can feel great about using it as well. Cashew Milk has less calories than skim milk. It has as much calcium as dairy milk, and only 60 calories per serving. The New silk Creamy Cashew is available in Canada, and I found it at my local Superstore / Loblaws.

Creamy Cashew would be a great substitute (1 for 1) for dairy milk in baking, and the flavor is really yummy for fall recipes. What recipe would you use it in?

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Silk. The opinions and text are all mine.

Brooke - Brooklyn Berry Designs

Hey, I’m Brooke!

I am a mom to 4 boys in Calgary, Alberta.  I love learning how things are made, singing to the radio loudly, and can’t stop talking. Fueled by diet coke and chaos, I can often be found working on a project.  You can hang out here for craft ideas and tips, games and activities to do with kids, plus FREE svg files and printables.
