Lets Get Chatty – Social TV

If anyone here follows me on twitter, you will know that I love to tweet while watching my favorite TV shows.   Also known as social TV.  I recently became introduced to a great show called Cracked, then later found out its filmed in Canada, which makes it that much more my favorite.  Gilmore girls addicts like me will thoroughly enjoy the eye candy that is Christopher (David Sutcliffe).  I tweet using a free app download called Tubetime that is available for your iPhone, iPad, .

The app has a TV guide set up, and can set up alerts for your favorite shows.  You can also get a connector that you attach to your phone or iPad and it turns your phone into a remote control for your tv and cable box.

You can share thoughts and reactions about your favorite tv shows via twitter and Facebook during your favorite show using the tubetime app to discuss the episode with other viewers. The nice part about the Tubetime app, for people fairly new to twitter, is that you can follow just the tweets about the show. When you participate in a conversation, it only shows the messages from people about the show. What I like about the show Cracked is that the script writers are on twitter and respond to what is going on in the show. They will tell you what they were thinking when they wrote the episode.  Social TV at its finest!

What TV shows do you like to talk about? Do you ever live tweet during a show?

Brooke - Brooklyn Berry Designs

Hey, I’m Brooke!

I am a mom to 4 boys in Calgary, Alberta.  I love learning how things are made, singing to the radio loudly, and can’t stop talking. Fueled by diet coke and chaos, I can often be found working on a project.  You can hang out here for craft ideas and tips, games and activities to do with kids, plus FREE svg files and printables.
