Budget Friendly Backsplash Tile

Does your kitchen need a face lift?  Tiling a kitchen backsplash is often time and labor intensive, as well as an expensive project.  I recently found a company SE Backsplash based in Iowa and Minnesota that will paint a tile mosaic on your backsplash in one day.  The technique is amazing, leaving a texture and color variety that adds a unique aspect to your home.
Here are some before and after pictures from their site.

When it comes to backsplash tile, the installation is the most expensive part of the job. Its messy and easily shows the marks of an amateur. I really like that this option is less expensive, but for people like me, whose husbands HATE hearing my DIY plans, you can have this done before they are home from work.

I think this is a really neat idea.  This is not a sponsored post by any means.  SE Backsplash doesn’t even know that I exist.  I just thought it was a great idea.  And my husband does too (if he read or wrote on this blog, I can tell you, he would agree).
This would also be a great DIY project if you were really particular about the tape lines.  To see the glass tile backsplash my husband installed, check out our dining room makeover.

Hi! I just started blogging myself and often wonder if anyone actually reads it. I don’t remember how i found your blog but I do enjoy reading it. I love this idea for a backsplash, i have tile behind the oven but the rest of the kitchen counter space isn’t. This would be a great way to match both sides of the kitchen! Thanks for sharing.
