Shower Door Inspiration
Recently I have been trying to help my mom with making decisions for her bathroom renovation. I say trying because when you are hauling 4 kids with you the showroom visits are VERY short. We end up taking turns going in to look while the other person sits in the car with the kids. Rather than having to go look at a showroom to see all the different shower door options for her, I decided to gather different images of bathrooms with various types of glass shower doors. For anyone who is renovating or building new, here are so many ideas no matter what your space or budget restrictions are.

Showers With Framed Glass Doors
This shower has a custom-built shower base with tiled walls and a framed glass wall and door. I wish the partial wall were extended into a bench so you could hold shampoo, sit to shave legs, etc. There is plenty of room for it! I love me a shower bench.
White subway tile shower walls. I love the classic looking hex tiles on the bathroom floor and the mosaic tile shower base. The black shower frame goes great with the black finish on the faucet. Again, I wish there was a bench! This is a great looking shower.

This is a bathroom I designed in a showhome a few years ago. This shower is the base level upgrade from a standard tub shower surround. It’s nice that it has a separate tub and shower, with a chrome shower frame. The shower walls are a one piece fiberglass surround. Notice the classic tile inlaid in the wood looking tile. I love the grey subway tile, but wish it would have extended from the tub straight across to the backslash.

Gridscape Doors
Gridscape Doors are framed doors with different designs on the frame. They can be configured in a hinged shower door, fixed panel, and sliding doors. I have seen them in home improvement stores as well as at a custom glass store.

Bright green door installed their shower doors themselves.
Kim’s bathroom underwent a major transformation, updating it from the 80s shower frame it had before.
This mosaic floor is so stunning. I love the dual shower heads and steam shower in this steam shower make for a very luxurious place to decompress. Get the full master bathroom reveal on the simplified bee.
I love the swiss cross white tile that Studio McGee used in this shower. Notice how the penny round tile is on the bathroom floor and the shower floor? I love the look this creates.
I love that this bathroom has neutral tiles and surroundings but packs some punch with color and accessories. It’s so beautiful and yet could be completely transformed with different accessories and furnishings.
I love the oversized subway tiles in this shower. So pretty.

I have mostly seen frameless shower doors, but like the idea of gridscape doors. I’ve never seen those types of shower doors before. I’m remodeling my bathroom and have been trying to to decide on a door that will match my design concept.
