A lot of homes today have doorbells with cameras. We have the ring doorbell and I love being able to see when people are at my door. Secretly – I love that I can tell if its someone I know or if I should ignore the door if its someone I don’t know. Am I alone in that one?

My doormat SVG design says Smile! You’re on camera! as a funny way to remind people we are totally watching you from our phones. Or not.

    Hi Brooklyn,
Thanks for all your posts. They inspire me.
Do you have a tutorial on how to put your doormat design on the doormat. Did you use vinyl- if so what type.
    Regards
    Lee

I have used regular vinyl and keep the outside layer, I have also used freezer paper as it irons down a bit and has worked the best for me. I want to try it again and use iron on vinyl. I think it would stay in place better and wouldn’t stay permanently.

Brooke - Brooklyn Berry Designs

Hey, I’m Brooke!

I am a mom to 4 boys in Calgary, Alberta.  I love learning how things are made, singing to the radio loudly, and can’t stop talking. Fueled by diet coke and chaos, I can often be found working on a project.  You can hang out here for craft ideas and tips, games and activities to do with kids, plus FREE svg files and printables.
