Ellen DeGeneres’s Montecito Home!
Ellen Degeneres and Portia De Rossi just listed their 1930’s home known as ‘The Villa’ for $45 million. Known for remodelling and selling homes (more for a hobby than as a house flipper) the interior photos of this home are not to be missed.
The house itself was built in the 1930s with over 10,500 square feet, 6 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms, 9 fireplaces, multiple libraries, and a marble-wrapped chef’s kitchen. The style of the home is old world, but the furnishings are a blend of modern classics and contemporary pieces.

The couple bought two adjacent properties for an estate of 16.88 acres. An indoor-outdoor entertaining pavilion known as Jordan Hall was built from stone excavated on-site with hand-made iron windows.
They also added an infinity pool, sunken championship tennis court and installed state-of-the-art irrigation, mechanical, electronic and security systems. The estate has been featured in various magazines as well as Ellen’s 2015 book Home.
