Remember when I blogged about helping my sister in law dumpster dive a chair and reupholster it?  Then we attacked the sofa for her living room?  Well I am finally realizing I never posted updated AFTER shots.

Is it not amazing?  She currently has a few funky pillows and it is really eclectic and cute.  SO her fun personality.
Here is her living room all decorated for Christmas
For the beginning of the journey, see Part 1, Part 2, Part 3.  There was also a vintage chair that went with the set.

You are really good at what you do! Which salvage yards do you get your raw materials from?

If you are in the Calgary area there is a great one in Okotoks. Because they charge to dump their garbage they have a salvage center where people can leave items others might use and not pay the disposal fee. All money given is donated to local charities. I have found so many great items there from kids toys to furniture to sewing patterns!
