What are Ten Frames?
Ten frames are a rectangular grid with two rows and five columns, making ten cells in total. Each cell can hold a dot, a counter, or a number to visually represent a number. Young kids can compare two frames with different combinations of dots to determine which has more or less – what a great way to use this visual tool!
Little learners can add buttons, stickers, beans, mini erasers, or any variety of small craft supplies into each square frame box of the ten-frame cards to count out any math equation and get the right answer.
