Holiday Cards are Here from Minted!MIN-JA8-HOC-001YCHRISTMAS_A_PD

Is this not the most adorable thing ever?  I am literally losing sleep thinking about what a genius idea this is.  Skip the family letter.  If you want to get Holiday / Christmas / New Year cards out and are panicking about how to get it done in time, this is your solution!  Upload a picture, type in your name and BOOM!  Done.  Not only does this solve the problem for YOU in getting your cards out, but it also solves the problem for what to do with all the cards you get.  Put them on your tree as an ornament.

I like to get a few new ornaments every year, that way my kids can have some to remember as they get older.  My brother and I always had our special ornaments growing up, and we would fight over who got to place theirs on the spinner thing.  You remember those, right? The plug you would put in place of a light bulb and it turns your ornaments around?  Best idea ever.  And by fighting, I mean we would make trade off our ornaments about 10 times a day.  Because that is how passive aggressively I fight with my older brother.  How my little brother got left out of this, I’ll never know, but now I would blame it on classic third child syndrome.

If you are wanting a more traditional card, which we all love getting too, here are some pretty, unique, and fun options for you.

I love the writing that looks like fancy chalkboard writing that I could never do.

Those boys are so adorable.

I love the glitter / shimmer on this card.  Peace.

I think the shaped edges make this Christmas Card look expensive.

All of these card designs are from Minted (go check out more, you won’t be sorry).  While I was perusing I happened to find an entire party section.  Did I mention today is 30 days from my 30th birthday?  MAN I am getting nervous and excited for that.  I feel like I need to do something monumental to lead up to this big day.  I am planning or making arrangements myself, because nobody else loves birthdays like I do.  I want this birthday banner, pronto.

I might go spend my afternoon dreaming of a party.  I guess my dirty thirty theme is out, right?

Brooke - Brooklyn Berry Designs

Hey, I’m Brooke!

I am a mom to 4 boys in Calgary, Alberta.  I love learning how things are made, singing to the radio loudly, and can’t stop talking. Fueled by diet coke and chaos, I can often be found working on a project.  You can hang out here for craft ideas and tips, games and activities to do with kids, plus FREE svg files and printables.
