Any long time readers here at Brooklyn Berry Designs will know that I love to craft and do DIY projects. I love it so much, I need it. After the kids go to bed I like to Netflix and Craft. The one tool that has made a huge impact on my projects is the Cricut Explore. I always thought of the machine as a scrapbooking tool, but the types of projects people were creating with it surprised me. While I could hand cut each material on its own, the Cricut takes the project to a professional level that I happily share with friends and family. When I first got the Cricut Explore I put that little machine to the test. I immediatley tried to cut leather and it went so smooth (see that project – leather mary jane shoes). I have tried paper, cardstock, iron-on vinyl, washi paper, craft foam (for flyfishing even), leather, poster board, and felt.
