If you have been reading my blog or following the Craft and DIY projects that I make, you know that I fell in love with my Cricut Explore. In order to help answer any questions that you have about the Cricut machine, I am starting a series about FAQ about the Cricut Explore. If you are debating whether or not you will use the machine enough to justify the price,or what all you can make with it, these posts will help you make an informed decision.
What is the Cricut machine and what can I do with it?
The Cricut machine is a cutting tool. It can cut out shapes, letters, and patterns out of paper, vinyl, iron-on vinyl, card stock, leather, balsa wood, and chip board. The Cricut machine functions similar to a printer in that it has rollers that can move the paper back and forth. Rather than ink, the Cricut has a razor blade that can cut out the shape or design that you create.
Whenever I share projects I have made, many people tell me that they have a brand new machine still inside the box. I have to admit, I was the exact same way when I first got my Cricut Explore. I remember looking for videos on what to do after opening the cricut machine box. If you want help just to get the machine out of the box and how to set it up, I made a video unboxing the Cricut Explore Air™ 2 machine.
